Just some thoughts:
The great basketball player Bob Cousy was once asked about a book a teammate of his had written. In being asked about it, as Cousy had not read the book, he said: “Maybe I don’t want to read anything about the past that interferes with my memory of it, you know? I just want to remember the past the way I choose to. If I let other people’s interpretation of it interfere then it raises other questions.”
Lot of truth in what the great one says. I think all of us have certain ways in which we choose to remember the past. I’m sure I do.
