Just some thoughts:
Twenty-five thoughts I’ve had this past week sitting alone with coffee.
1.Can a person be happy and not satisfied?
2.Ever know someone who was competent at what they did, but a lousy example?
3.A person can find themselves in a place of comfort not so much as to “who” they are but “whose” they are.
4.There can be something comforting about being referred to as
“We” rather than “You.”
5. Prettiness is easy to admire but can be difficult to love.
6.If it is written it doesn’t go away. Said– can be denial, written not so.
7. I’ve lost total interest in professional basketball…”Beat up basketball.”
8.It’s within the power of most of us to make someone’s day just a little bit better.
9.Ever wish you could go for a long bicycle ride?
10.I’d like to sit in a house/barn with a tin roof and hear the rain.
11.The country could sure use more folks with the character of Jackson Fentry. (Cannot goggle–I will buy lunch (at the meat and three in Hohenwald,TN) for anyone that knows who Fentry was.
12.What historical character would I most like to have lunch with? You?
13.It seems like only yesterday–but it was long ago…hum….(song line–great song)
14. Wonder what happens to deferred dreams.
15.First kiss…wonder who that was…or maybe I do remember. You?
16.Legitimate or fabricated. Both often are presented in the believable of a person or matter.
17.While now do seven days pass so quickly?
18.Most everyone either is or has been a cheerleader in the life of another person
19.I like train rides. Wish they were more popular.
20.One my all time favorite country song titles:
“If Fingerprints showed up on skin I wonder whose would be all over you?”
21.Wonder how many would know who Lois Lane was.
22.If Beethoven was played as loud as today’s rock music, I wouldn’t like that either.
23.I miss Andy Rooney.
24.I like popsicles
25.Sometimes I like music with no words
(26.) Last night I stood at an elementary school graduation and we all said the Pledge of Allegiance. It was neat.
