Just some thoughts:
I heard a great line a while back. I’ll share that line a bit later.
Sometime ago I was driving back home to Tennessee from a visit in what had once been my home area, Vigo county in southwestern Indiana. I go back often. Driving alone nursing a cup of coffee I got to thinking about a conversation I had with someone while there.
While there I had coffee with someone and we had talked about a number of things, people, places, happenings, etc. We talked about one person who had what one would call some bad luck, more bad luck than what one person should have. Both of us recalled things that had happened in this persons life that should not, things where they were done wrong.
It was said of this person who had been mistreated numerous times in his life:
“He forgave, but so easily that it hardly
seemed like forgiving.”
What a tribute to said of a person, that they forgave so easily, so easily that it hardly seemed like forgiving.
Folks, now there’s a great line.
