About Larry Adamson and his family:
Larry Adamson is a native of south western Indiana. He graduated from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana in 1964. He earned a B.S. in Education and received a Master’s degree in Education in 1967. Larry spent thirteen years in public education in Indiana teaching and coaching on the secondary level. He spent twenty-four years at the United States Golf Association as Director of Championship Administration at the corporate office in Far Hills, NJ. Married to the former Barbara White, they have three children and six grandchildren. He retired from the USGA in late 2002 and now lives in Franklin, TN (just outside of Nashville) . He remains very active in volunteer work and spends his free time in activities related to golf, sporting events, old cars and live music. You will find him most mornings at the coffee shop.
